We are very sad to announce that Rich Young, our District Administrator, passed away on the afternoon of June 30th.

The family wants to thank each and every person for their kind words of support and encouragement during this challenging time. It has felt like a magical extension of our immediate family with all of the people that Rich has connected with over the years in Little League rallying to support us. It is our desire, in the spirit that Rich would have wanted, to make sure the kids come first. We will be setting up a Fund for all kids in the District to assist in keeping the dream of playing Little League alive for as many as possible. The family will be holding a private memorial service for Rich. A public service will be held at Harvey West Park Field #1 for the greater Little League community. The date and details for the Harvey West service to follow.

Managers and Coaches, in order to reduce the number of communications with Rick Stubblefield and Mike Saso, please use your chain of command by contacting your League's President. If it is urgent and you cannot reach your President or Rick, please call Mike Saso on his cell 831-234-7276.

Presidents, please use your League's Communications Officer to get information out as needed to all Managers and Coaches as it is passed along from Rick and Mike.
